H

Term Definition
Ham

Robert, almost three, calls it "gigig", which is the way he used to pronounce drinky - which I used to describe breastfeeding, and a cup was a drink - "gig". Now his speech is clearer, we still refer to breastfeeding as "gigig" as no one know what he is asking for apart from his immediate family - thus eliminating any embarrassment on my part! He did go through phase of calling it "ham" as he liked ham so much that anything that was tasty was called ham!

Hmm Hmms

Not myself but my mum's story. When my little brother wanted a feed he would always ask for hmm hmms mummy. Bless him!

Honeys

My son weaned himself around 2 1/2. He called is Honeys. Have no clue where he got it from. Probably from me, "come here, honey."

Hungries

I haven't nursed my DD since she was 9 months old (very sad about it), but I've been preparing her for me nursing the baby soon to come. Every once in a while she lifts my shirt and points to the "hungries". :)
